But, there's a spot I keep coming back to, and it's one almost nobody thinks to ask for by name: Pirates Cove, tucked below the cliffs of Corona del Mar in Newport Beach. It's not a secret, exactly ... you'll see other people down there too. It's just way less crowded than the big beaches nearby, which means more room to actually move, laugh, get in the water, and let your photos feel like you instead of a stock photo of "engaged couple at the beach."
