colin + mindy | festival vibes couple's shoot in joshua tree

I was in Joshua Tree for another photoshoot ... and I always just feel so inspired by the desert ... so I just wanted to shoot as much as possible! So, totally last minute, I reached out to a bunch of couples on Instagram, seeing if anyone was interested in meeting up for a quick couples' shoot at sunset. As soon as these two replied, "We're in!" I knew it was gonna be good.

I told them I'd love to channel festival vibes but with a let's-adventure-in-the-desert feel. These two went thrift shopping right before the shoot, and I love the eclectic look they put together.

We met up along a random dirt road right outside of Joshua Tree National Park and drove to this little spot I found. It was absolutely perfect. If you haven't witnessed a sunset in Joshua Tree, I highly highly highly recommend it. You won't be disappointed.
