I met Dustin and Alexis at a wedding I photographed in Oaxaca in 2017. I was so excited when they reached out to me and said they're now engaged and want me to be their photographer!
As we started planning their engagement session, they said they wanted something kinda "Mexico-looking." They love going to Mexico, but it just wasn't happening due to Covid. So, I made it my mission to bring the Mexico vibes to them!
After hours of searching, I came across this beautiful space. I immediately sent it to Alexis (along with a few other suggestions), but I had my fingers crossed that they'd choose this location ... and they did!
It's hard to believe that this tropical oasis is in the middle of Orange County. As soon as we walked into the space, we were in absolute awe. We felt transported to a tropical resort. And, it would've been easy for this location to be the star of the show. But...nope. This couple brought the heat!!!
These two are very obviously in love and the connection they have is palpable. Alexis and Dustin, I can't wait for your Disco in the Desert wedding in Joshua Tree next year!
