When I received Ajia and Ron's inquiry, I did a little happy dance and sent a prayer up pleading with God to bless me with booking this shoot.
This is what part of their inquiry said:
"We are a laid back couple that usually seem more like friends. I have big curly hair that I plan on wearing in its glory while giving my best cool faces and he’s not that photogenic and usually doesn’t know what to do with his hands. We have been together 5 years and finally got engaged in December and whoopsie got pregnant that night so I am going to be 22 weeks on this shoot."
Like, why wouldn't I want to work with this couple!?
So, we planned for a maternity/engagement shoot! The day of their shoot arrives, and they're even more fun and sarcastic and laid-back in person. We started off by wandering through one of the neighborhoods in Palm Springs to capture all of those palm trees. I mean, you've gotta have some Palm Trees in your Palm Springs engagement photos!
We then met up with this beautiful, blue, vintage Cadillac. What a fun prop to incorporate into a shoot! Ajia and Ron just oozed confidence and glamour as they hung out in this boat of a car. Overall, it was such a fun shoot, and all I can say is, "More shoots like this, please!!!"
