I’m a curly-haired, cookie-loving photographer based out of the San Francisco Bay Area. I capture free-spirited, adventurous couples who are joining their lives together in an intimate setting. My camera and I will travel anywhere in the world as long as cookies are involved. When I’m not attached to my camera, you can find me snuggled up with my hubby and our son, looking for things at Home Goods that I don't really need to buy, or eating fresh-out-of-the-oven cookies.
a little bit about me.
I was born and raised in Rancho Cucamonga, an oddly-named city in Southern California. My husband and I moved to the Bay Area in 2014 when he got hired as an engineer at Tesla. I work part-time as a psychiatric nurse for adolescents. I'm extremely passionate about mental health, and I'm so thankful for a job in which I get to support youth going through difficult times. When I'm not nurse-ing, you can find me trying my best to manage life as a wife, mama, and business owner. It's a busy life, but I honestly love it. I have a hard time sitting still!
So, you’re wondering how I got into photography. Well… my husband goes through several, what I like to call, "phases" every year. This past year, his phases included drawing a comic, aspiring to be like Gordon Ramsay, and investing in real estate. In 2010, one of his phases was photography. He bought a DSLR camera, and he was ready to go. The problem was that he couldn't really go through this phase of his, because I was using his camera all. the. time. From there, my passion for photography turned into a full-blown obsession. I am so thankful that a little camera has led me to work with such genuinely awesome couples. I’ve photographed over 50 weddings in stunning destinations, including Ireland, Jamaica, and Oaxaca.
of my life.
My husband, Bronson, and I met in Algebra II class when we were 15 years old! We dated for what felt like an eternity. In 2014, I finally got to marry my high school sweetheart in front of God and our loved ones. In January of 2019, we welcomed our adorable son, Atlas Theodor, into the world. He is a ball of energy and loves people. I'm not really sure how two introverted people ended up with such an extroverted baby!
In case you didn't know already, I ABSOLUTELY LOVE COOKIES! I'm picky with my cookies though. They need to be freshly baked with a soft center and a slightly crispy edge. I don't do any of that Chips Ahoy, Famous Amos stuff!
I also work part time as a psychiatric registered nurse for adolescents. I'm incredibly passionate about reducing the stigma of mental health, and it's something I'm always open to discussing.
I have a 26-year-old brother with Autism. I have such a special place for him in my heart, and he's one of the main reasons I work in the mental health field.
I love Jesus, and my main goal in life is to love others as He did — unconditionally.
